  3. This menu command creates a new directory on the remote computer.  You will be prompted for a name to give the directory; unless you specify otherwise the directory will be a sub-directory of the current one.  You should only use this command if you have the appropriate privileges and the remote computer supports directories.  If either of these conditions are not met you will see an error message.
